The Bianchi Specialissima Comp Ultegra Di2 is Bianchi's all-around climbing road bike built for riders who want the Specialissima experience without stepping into Dura-Ace territory. At $6,500, it slots below the Pro and RC in the lineup, trading Countervail vibration technology and higher-modulus carbon for a price that opens the platform to a much wider range of riders — without giving up the core all-around road character that defines the Specialissima name. Bianchi has been building road bikes in Treviglio, Italy since 1885, and the Specialissima has carried some of the brand's most celebrated race builds across that history.

The frame is built from Bianchi's Specialissima Comp carbon layup — lower modulus than the Pro, shaped to deliver the same multi-terrain versatility the line is known for. Fully built, it comes in under 8kg. The construction runs fully internal cable routing through an Acros IS52 ICR (Integrated Cable Routing) headset, which keeps the cockpit area clean and accommodates an integrated bar and stem setup. Direct mount brakes, a BB-PressFit 86.5x41 shell, and thru axles front and rear give the chassis the rigidity you'd expect at this price. The fork is a full carbon aero design with an integrated head and 12x100mm front thru axle, purpose-built for the Specialissima Comp platform. A full carbon aero seatpost with a 20mm offset — sized by frame rather than universal — rounds out the aerodynamic framework. The frame is compatible with an integrated cockpit upgrade if you decide to build toward that later; the standard spec doesn't include it, but the Acros ICR architecture supports it.

Electronic shifting is standard throughout. Bianchi specs the complete Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset, built around the R8100-series redesign. The 12-speed ST-R8170 levers combine electronic shift buttons and hydraulic disc brake actuation in a single hood, running the updated ergonomics Shimano introduced with the R8100 generation. Rear shifting is handled by the RD-R8150 derailleur; front by the FD-R8150. The crankset is a Shimano Ultegra FC-R8100 at 52/36T, crank length matched to frame size — 165mm for the smaller sizes, 170mm mid-range, 172.5mm for 57 and 59cm. The cassette runs 11-30, a practical spread that covers long climbs without giving up top-end gearing on faster terrain. Braking comes from Shimano Ultegra BR-R8170 hydraulic disc calipers paired with 160mm Shimano RT-CL800 center lock rotors with Ice Tech cooling. The system is consistent and well-modulated — the same architecture Shimano uses across its upper-tier road lineup.

Wheels are Velomann Palladium — a 33mm-profile tubeless-ready rim with a 24-hole spoke pattern built on a 2-to-1 lacing layout, with sealed cartridge bearings and a claimed total weight of approximately 1,450g for the set. The rim depth sits in a practical zone for all-around riding: enough benefit on flat and rolling terrain, not so deep that crosswinds become a problem in the mountains. Tires are Pirelli P Zero Race at 700x26mm with a 127TPI casing, set up tubeless-ready. The cockpit runs a Bianchi Reparto Corse carbon integrated bar and stem, routing cables through the Acros ICR system. It's sized to the frame — bar width and stem length scale with frame size from 90/38cm at the smallest to 120/42cm at 59cm — with 80mm reach and 125mm drop throughout.

The Specialissima Comp is built for riders who cover varied terrain — climbs, descents, rolling group rides — and want a single bike that handles all of it competently. It's not a dedicated aero bike, and it doesn't pretend to compete with the lightweight credentials of the Pro or RC. What it offers is a legitimate all-around road bike with a full electronic groupset, hydraulic disc brakes, and capable wheels at a price that leaves room in the budget for everything else. Six sizes run from 47cm through 59cm, and the bike comes in four colorways: Graphite/Black, CK16/Graphite, Graphite Metallic Celeste/CK16, and Black/Deep Blue/Grey Full Matte — including options featuring Bianchi's iconic celeste.

Awesome
I have so many of these attached to my tool box. I hang so many different things from them including my drills. Love them and will probably buy more soon. Well made and very strong magnets.

works, just not the strongest magnet.
magnet will hold a drill but anything much heavier it will start to slide. have on e on fridge, 2 on safe and on on garage cabinet. fridge and safe hold the least, i guess due to plastic over magnet and coating on the safe and fridge. cabinet does best but still will slide with any significant weight. holds my drills ok however.
